  • EXPLORATION IN 1983 BY MINEX MINING CO., AND THE JORDAN-BASED, ARAB MINING COMPANY (OWNED BY THE ARAB LEAGUE). THE DEPOSIT WAS SAID TO CONTAIN 150,000 T OF TUNGSTEN CONCENTRATE AND PLANS FOR MINING IT WERE UNDER CONSIDERATION IN EARLY 1983.
