IN 1987, PRODUCTION WAS RESUMED BY CALCIUM PRODUCTS OF ARIZONA--THE PRODUCT WAS GROUND CALCIUM PRODUCTS. DRILLING WAS DONE BY PAUL LIME CO. IN 1961 AND LATER BY ANACONDA CO. (DURING CU EXPLORATION). PFIZER PURCHASED THE MINE IN 1991 AND PLANNED A $3 MILLION EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. ; ECON.COM: QUARRIED FOR LIME PRODUCTS. CRUSHING, SIZING AND BAGGING PLANT. Deposit EXTENSIVE MARBLE DEPOSIT. MARBLIZED LIMESTONE IS GENTLY DIPPING, FAULTED AND FRACTURED, AND 300 TO 500 FT THICK. THERE ARE ZONES IN THE MARBLE THAT CONTAIN DISSEMINATED PYRITE AND OTHER SULFIDES.
