| Deposit | GREEN, PURPLE, AND ROSE-COLORED FLUORITE ASSOCIATED WITH CALCITE, BARITE, GALENA, AND WULFENITE OCCURS IN VEINS WHERE MESOZOIC SHALE, IMPURE LIMESTONE, SILTSTONE, AND SCHIST HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY RHYOLITE PORPHYRY AND DIORITE PORPHYRY. MAIN HOST ROCK IS CRETACEOUS SHALE. VEINS SPLIT AND BRANCH BUT ARE TRACEABLE FOR 4000 FT. FLUORITE ORE USUALLY LESS THAN 5 FT THICK. VEINS LOCALLY CONTAIN 40-60 PERCENT FLUORITE. |
