GABBROIC AND SERPENTINIZED PERIDOTITIC ROCKS OCCUR IN THE AREA. GREENSCHIST BELTS INTRUDED BY SUPAMO COMPLEX GRANODIORITE AND GRANITE. LATER CUT BY DIABASE DIKES AND SILLS.
