  • SALOBO 3A IS ONE OF THE CU ANOMALIES ALONG 70 KM STRIKE LENGTH IN N70W DIRECTION ON THE NORTH FLANK OF THE CARAJAS SYNCLINORIUM; THE IRON RICH FACIES IS 30 TO 300M THICK. SEHISTS ARE 200-500M THICK AND CONTAIN MOST OF THE CU CONC/ENRICH: OXIDIZED TO 25-75M.

  • TOTAL RESERVE (1), ORE (2) N.F. FARIAS AND R. SAVERESSIG (1982) BASE ON DRILLING INCLUDES 469,947,000 TONNES AT 1.28%CU, 569,723,000 TONNES AT 0.48% CU, AND 97,430,000 TONNES AT 0.77% IN OXIDIZED ZONE. A 0.8% CU CUT OFF GRADE WAS USED IN TWO TONNAGE CALCULATIONS.
