THE RELATION OF THESE TO THE THREE MINES IN CHARING CROSS IS NOT CLEAR. REOPENED ADITS IN 1958, FOUND CHALCOPYRITE (MASSIVE) OVER 18 IN OVER LENGTH 300 FT.

Deposit THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF MINERALIZATION IN THE DISTRICT: (1) QUARTZ-CARBONATE VEINS WITH MASSIVE CHALCOPYRITE CUTTING VOLCANIC ROCKS WITH SOME GOLD AND SILVER, (2) LOW GRADE DISSEMINATIONS AND STRINGERS WITH A HIGH PYRITE TO CHALCOPYRITE RATIO; (3) REPLACEMENT DEPOSITS OF COPPER MINERALS IN SEDIMENTS.
