  • A 100 FT SHAFT WITH 250 FT OF TUNNELS ON 50 FT AND 100 FT LEVELS. MOST PRODUCTION FROM OPEN PIT WHICH WAS 35 FT DEEP IN 1946.

  • TEST PITS DUG 1890. ACTIVE EXPLORATION 1908-1909 INCLUDING 100 FT SHAFT, 250 FT TUNNELS, 6 DIAMOND DRILL HOLES. DIP-NEEDLE AND GRAVITY SURVEY 1943. USBM UNDERGROUND SAMPLING AND 1623 FT DIAMOND DRILLING 1944. ECONOMIC COMMENTS: MOST OF ORE PRODUCED WAS USED FOR HEAVY CONCRETE AGGREGATE.
