Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE CONGLOMERATE CONSISTS OF IGNEOUS AND SEDIMENTARY ROCK CLASTS WITH A SANDY-CLAY MATRIX. GOLD NUGGETS AND FLAKES ARE FOUND IN THE MATRIX. OVERLYING THE CONGLOMERATE IS A CLAY HORIZON, 2 M THICK, UPON WHICH A 30-50 CM THICK SOIL HAS DEVELOPED.
Deposit BUENAVENTURA (1975) REPORTS THAT THE DEPOSIT HAS NOT BEEN ENTIRELY WORKED, AND SUGGESTS THAT WORKINGS COULD BE RENEWED AFTER A DETAILED STUDY OF THE ALLUVIAL DEPOSIT.
