Deposit THE HOST CONGLOMERATE CONSISTS PREDOMINANTLY OF QUARTZ DIORITE AND GRANODIORITE CLASTS WITH QUARTZ. THE MATRIX IS A SANDY CLAYSTONE IN WHICH GOLD HAS BEEN DISSEMINATED AS FLAKES AND SMALL NUGGETS. THE CONGLOMERATE IS EXTENSIVE AND WIDTH OF THE DEPOSIT DOESN'T EXCEED 5 M.
Deposit BUENAVENTURA (1975) REPORTS THAT THE DEPOSIT HAS LITTLE ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE, AND ONLY POOR REMANENTS REMAIN.
