Deposit THE DEPOSIT IS MADE UP OF GRANODIORITE AND QUARTZ CLASTS WITHIN A RED CLAYEY SAND MATRIX WHICH CONTAINS SMALL GOLD FLAKES. THE CONGLOMERATE IS AMPLY DISTRIBUTED, FORMING A SERIES OF SMALL RIDGES IN SOME AREAS WHICH REACH A THICKNESS OF UP TO 4 M.
Deposit BUENAVENTURA (1975) REPORTS THAT ALTHOUGH THE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN WORKED INTENSELY, THERE ARE STILL AREAS WITH GOOD GOLD CONTENT.
