  • 1910 WORKINGS CONSISTED OF A CUT 40' LONG, 15' WIDE, & 20' HIGHWALL. WORKING OF THE 1940'S STILL VISIBLE AS A CUT 300' LONG, 100' WIDE, & 50 ' SLUMPED HIGHWALL. POND FORMED AT LOW PART OF WORKINGS.

  • FIRST WORKED ABOUT 1910 BY MR. HORN WHO STOCKPILED SMALL AMT OF IRON ORE. NONE WAS MOVED FROM SITE. AGAIN WORKED DURING WWII TO PRESENT SIZE. AREA NOT RECLAIMED AND SEVERAL PILES OF MN ORE (1" SIZE) ARE ON PROPERTY. SCREENS AND DUMPING PLATFORM STILL THERE BUT BEGINNING TO FALL IN
