Deposit Discovery Year: LATE 1800'S?
Deposit PROSPECTS IN THE SHADY DOLOMITE, THEREFORE MOST LIKELY LEAD/ZINC PROSPECT. NO OUTCROP IN AREA OR IN PITS. DUMP MATERIAL WAS BRECCIATED LIMESTONE/DOLOMITE WITH QUARTZ ?/WHITE DOLOMITE, CALCITE MINERALIZATION IN FRACTURES. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AVAILABLE.
Deposit NO PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION OF THE PROSPECT FOUND IN THE LITERATURE. NO ORE MINERALS FOUND ON DUMPS, BUT TWO PROSPECT PITS LOCATED. BECAUSE OF STRONGLY BRECCIATED ROCK FROM SHADY DOLOMITE FOUND ON DUMPS - THIS PROSPECT WAS MOST LIKELY TESTING FOR LEAD/ZINC MINERALIZATION. ; INFO.SRC : 3 FIELD OBSERV; 5 PERS COMM
