  • TWO SMALL OPEN CUTS LOCATED 2/10/88 DURING FIELD EXAMINATION. BOTH WERE DRIVEN APROXIMATELY N 20 DEGREES W, PERPENDICULAR TO STRIKE. EAST CUT IS 15 FEET WIDE, 20 FEET WIDE, AND 8 FEET HIGH AT HIGHWALL. 50 FEET WEST, A SMALLER CUT IS 10 FEET WIDE, 15 FEET DEEP, AND 5 FEET HIGH AT HIGHWALL. THE PROSPECTS ARE PARTIALLY FILLED AND GROWN OVER.

Deposit STRONGLY FRACTURED LIMESTONE FOUND IN PROSPECT CUTS. THIN VEINS OF DOLOMITE WITH IRON STAINING OR MINOR LIGHT BROWN SPHALERITE FOUND ALONG FRACTURES. MOST LIKELY IT IS SIMILAR TO THE SCOTT #1 PROSPECT.
