  • SHALLOW PITS EXCAVATED IRON ORE WHICH WAS USED AT THE WHITE ROCK FURNACE (LATE 1800'S) . LATER, PROSPECTING DONE HERE FOR MN. (EARLY 1900'S). SITE IS NOW A HUNTERS CAMP WITH ONLY A HINT OF PITS AND TRENCHES.
