| Deposit | DEPOSIT WAS NOT EXPOSED NOR DESCRIBED IN THE LITERATURE. SMALL PIECES (1") OF BARITE CLUSTERS AND MASSES FOUND IN THE CLAY AND SOIL ON THE PROSPECT DUMP. AS WITH THE OTHER DEPOSITS IN THE DISTRICT BARITE MOST LIKELY OCCURS AS VEINS AND REPLACEMENT MASSES ALONG FRACTURES IN THE BEDROCK, AND AS IRREGULAR FRAGMENTS IN THE OVERLYING CLAY AND SOIL. |
