  • WORKINGS LOCATED IN STREAM BED; VEIN OF MASSIVE BARITE, WIDTH 6 INCHES (SHEPARD, 1837), WIDTH LARGE (PERCIVAL, 1842). FAULT STRIKE N. 40 TO 45 DEG. EAST, DIP NEAR VERTICAL. 1000 FEET TO NORTHEAST ALONG FAULT IS MATTABESSET RIVER LEAD MINE.
