  • QUARRIES NOT SHOWN ON TOPOGRAPHIC MAP. STUGARD LOCATES THREE QUARRIES, THE NORTH ONE, AND TWO TO THE SOUTH. THE SOUTHERN QUARRIES ARE 250 FEET AND 400 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTH PIT. EACH QUARRY IS ON A SMALL PEGMATITE OUTCROP LESS THAN 100 FEET IN DIAMETER. REGIONALLY THE DIKES TREND NORTHWARD AND DIP VERTICALLY. CASE NO. 3 MINE IS 60 FEET LONG NE-SW, 5 FEET WIDE NW-SE, AND ABOUT 200 FEET DEEP. OWNER IS MYRON N. CASE. MINED BY WORTH SPAR CO. FROM 1933 TO 1935, MINED IN 1939 BY FRANK BAJOREK. LOOKED AT IN 1942 BY COMPANY.
