  • TWO CAVED PITS, ONE MEASURES 18.3 M BY 5.5 M WITH 1.2 M MAX. DEPTH. IT EXPOSES QUARTZ-SERICITE SCHIST, HAS A SMALL CAVED DUMP OF MOSTLY SCHIST AND SOME QUARTZ. THE OTHER PIT MEASURES 6.1 M BY 1.3 M , AND IS SHALLOW WITH MOSTLY LOOSE WHITE QUARTZ IN IT. A FEW PILES OF WHITE TO BROWN QUARTZ. AS SEEN IN 1974 BY P. SWEET.
