SMALL QUARRY OF MEDIUM, SLIGHTLY BLUISH GRAY SHADE WITH CONSPICUOUS BROAD BLACK STREAKS ON THE FOLIATION FACE AND OF MEDIUM GRAINED UPLICATED VERY GNEISSOSE TEXTURE, WITH PORPHYRITIC LENTICULAR FELDSPARS TO 0.2 TO 0.4 INCH LONG. GNEISS FOLIATION STRIKES N. 10 DEG. EAST, DIP VERTICAL. SHEETS 3 FEET THICK. AN 18 INCH APLITE DIKE PARALLEL TO FOLIATION.
