GNEISS FOLIATION STRIKES EAST-WEST, DIPS STEEPLY SOUTH. SHEETS 3 TO 8 FEET THICK AND IRREGULAR. BLOCKS 10 FEET SQUARE AND 3 TO 5 FEET THICK. LIGHT TO MEDIUM BLUISH GRAY WITH GNEISSOSE BANDED FINE TEXTURE.
