N. 35 DEG. WEST. SHEETS 8 TO 12 FEET THICK, EITHER HORIZONTAL OR INCLINED 30 DEG. NNW. SOME GARNETIFEROUS PEGMATITE DIKES TO TWO INCHES THICK. COLOR MEDIUM GRAY WITH VERY FINE GNEISSOSE TEXTURE. USED FOR BUILDING STONE, CURBS, TRIM.
