  • TOPO SHOWS DEPRESSION, WITH POND, ABOUT 400 FEET LONG NORTH TO SOUTH, 100 FEET WIDE EAST TO WEST, WITH REPORTED DEPTH OF ABOUT 50 FEET. TWO SHAFTS FOR UNDERGROUND WORKINGS WHICH WAS CARRIED OUT AT FOUR LEVELS. TOTAL DEPTH AND LENGTH OF WORKINGS UNKNOWN. MINING BEGAN ABOUT 1835; WORKED AT INTERVALS TO 1888. PRESENT OWNER (1972) ROBERT EDWARDS.
