Deposit DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF 14 LODE (AND ONE PLACER) CLAIMS OVER 160 ACRES. ANALYSIS OF 8 SAMPLES CHEMICALLY AND PETROGRAPHICALLY CONTAINING ILMENITE, LEUCOXENE, AND RUTILE TRACES VARIED FROM 0.6 TO 9.0% TIO2. A CHURN DRILL HOLE 150 FT. DEEP IN THE PLACER CLAIM CUT PLACER DEBRIS CONTAINING FROM 4.5 TO 30% ILMENITE. DURING A BRIEF RECONNAISSANCE INVESTIGATION OF THE PROPERTY, 10 SAMPLES WERE CUT. THREE APLITE SAMPLES WITH MINOR AMOUNTS OF RUTILE ASSAYED 0.4 TO 1.3% TIO2, THREE GABBRO AND ONE DIORITE SAMPLE, FROM A TRACE TO 0.9% TIO2, AND PLACER SAMPLES CUT NEAR THE SURFACE, 0.7 TO 1.2% TIO2. SOME PLACER SAMPLES ALSO CONTAINED SEVERAL PERCENT OF TITANIFEROUS MAGNETITE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
