CONCENTRATIONS OF TITANIFEROUS SANDS AND GRAVELS OCCUR OVER AN AREA OF SEVERAL SQUARE MILES. SAMPLES OF TITANIFEROUS SANDS VARY WIDELY IN TIO2 CONTENT. ONE SAMPLE FROM THE OWNER CONTAINED 9.4 % TIO2 WHILE SEVERAL GRAB SAMPLES FROM NBMG. MINES ALONG STREAM BEDS ASSAYED LESS THAN 3 % TIO2. THE ALLUVIUM IN GULCHES AND ALLUVIAL FANS IS NOT LIKELY TO CONTAIN MORE THAN 1 % TIO2. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
