RELATIVE PERCENTAGES OF HEAVY MINERALS PRESENT ARE 87.0 OPAQUES, 5.6 ZIRCON, 5.1 GARNET, 1.0 EACH TOURMALINE, RUTILE, AMPHIBOLE, EPIDOTE, AND SPHENE, AND TRACES OF CHLORITE, BIOTITE, AND STAUROLITE. THE POTENTIAL RESOURCES OF TITANIFEROUS SANDSTONE IN 19 WYOMING DEPOSITS, INCLUDING THE LOVELL, ARE 21,873,000 ST WITH WEIGHTED AVERAGE GRADE PERCENTS OF 5.22 TIO2, 0.55 ZRO2, 24.75 FE, AND 0.15 EQUIVALENT THO2. (2). |
