Deposit DIMENSIONS ARE FOR N30W STRIKING, ELLIPTICAL ZONE OF CONTACT METAMORPHISM AND MINERALIZATION. MINING DISTRICT IS ON THE SOUTHEST END OF THIS ZONE. MANTO DEPOSITS STRIKE N30W DIP NE. VEIN STRIKES N15E 55 SE. MANTOS CONSISTS OF DISCONTINUOUS STOCKWORK VEINS CONFINED TO QUARTZITE BEDS SANDWHICHED BETWEEN METAMORPHOSED SHALE.
