| Deposit | THE CANAS GROUP HAS TWO TYPES OF CONGLOMERATES. (1) THE CHABU TYPE WITH GRAY TO WHITE BEDS HAS GOLD DEPOSITS, (2) THE PIRITOSO TYPE WITH BEDS OF GRAY TO LIGHT TO DARK GREEN (DUE TO SERICITE STAINED GREEN BY CHROMEMICA) AND RED TO DARK BROWN HAS BOTH GOLD AND URANIUM DEPOSITS. THE MAIN SOURCE OF GOLD AND URANIUM ORE IN THE CANAVIERAS MINE IS THE PIRITOSO CONGLOMERATES AND PYRITE. |
