Deposit COPPER MINERALS FOUND IN THREE VEINS SEGMENTS OF A SINGLE VEIN THAT TRENDS EAST-WEST AND DIPS VERTICALLY. THE VEIN AVERAGES ONE METER WIDE. THE LENGTH OF EXPOSED SEGMENTS IS 1300M. COMPOSITION OF VEIN IS QUARTZ, CHERT, MAGNETITE, LIMONITE, AND CALCITE BESIDES THE MENTIONED COPPER MINERALS. SAMPLES ACROSS THE STRIKE OF THE VEIN SHOW FROM .02 TO .77 PERCENT COPPER. COUNTRY ROCK ADJACENT TO VEIN IS ALTERED TO SERICITE AND QUARTZ AND HAVE CATACLASTIC TEXTURE. AWAY FROM THE VEIN, COUNTRY ROCK IS BIOTITE-GRANITE GNEISS WITH FOLIATION STRIKING N 50 W.
