General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE PHOSPHATE MINERAL IS 9-12 FT THICK; IT CONSISTS OF 12-24 IN SEAMS OF BLOCKY HIGH-GRADE PHOSPHORITE INTERBEDDED WITH 2-5 IN CLAY SEAMS. CROSS FAULTS WITH DISPLACEMENTS OF A FEW IN TO AS MUCH AS 30 FT ARE NUMEROUS AND THE ORE ZONE IS BADLY CRUSHED AND SHATTERED. LOCAL ROLLS AND FOLDS IN THE BEDDING COMPLICATE THE MINING PROBLEMS.
