  • MINING WAS CARRIED OUT IN A QUARTZ VEIN ENCLOSED BY ANDESITE THAT IS SHEARED IN PLACES. MOST OF THE QUARTZ IS IRON STAINED AND VUGGY, CONTAINING LIMONITE.

  • THE MINE WAS WORKED ALONG STRIKE FOR 300 FT AND TO A DEPTH OF 120 FT. IN 1970, A SHAFT 20 FT BY 8 FT WAS LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY. IT WAS FILLED WITH TRASH AND CAVED.
