  • UNRECORDED PRODUCTION PRIOR TO 1901

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • ASSUMING MINERALIZED AREA 3 FT X 700 FT X 1600 FT GIVES 280,000 ST OF WHICH 190,000 ST HAS BEEN MINED AND AN ADDITIONAL 125,000 ST HAS BEEN GIVEN AS RESERVES. THESE TOTAL 315,000 ST; THUS IT WOULD APPEAR THAT POTENTIAL RESOURCES WOULD HAVE TO BE DEVELOPED AT GREATER DEPTH OR AN EXTENSION OF THE VEIN WOULD HAVE TO BE FOUND.
  • REED (1951) STATES THAT ABOUT 40% OF ORE DEVELOPED BY UNDERGROUND WORKINGS REMAINS UNMINED

Workings at the site
