Deposit SHEAR ZONE VEINS; MODEL NAME COULD ALSO BE: POLYMETALLIC VEINS.
Deposit FIRST LOCATIONS IN THE VICINITY OF BARRETT SPRINGS WERE MADE IN 1906, WITH LITTLE ACTIVITY UNTIL 1910, WHEN C.E. CARPENTER DISCOVERED HIGH-GRADE GOLD IN THE AREA. ACTIVITY HALTED IN 1911 WHEN IT WAS FOUND THAT THE MAIN CLAIMS WERE ON PATENTED RAILROAD LAND, BUT WAS RENEWED WHEN THE LAND WAS PURCHASED FROM THE RAILROAD. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
