Deposit THE ORE OCCURS IN THE MIDDLE SANDSTONE MEMBER OF THE CHINLE FORMATION. MINERALIZED LENSES UP TO 1 FT THICK, CONSISTING OF GRAY, CALCAREOUS CALY AND LIMESTONE-PEBBLE CONGLOMERATE ARE INTERBEDDED WITH A GRAY, MEDIUM-GRAINED, MEDIUM-SORTED, ARENITE. THE ARENITE IS TRUNCATED LATERALLY BY MAROON TO RED SANDSTONES AND SILTSTONES. UNMINERALIZED GRAY CONGLOMERATIC SANDSTONES OVERLIE AND UNDERLIE THE MINERALIZED ARENITE.
