Comments on development

  • Property consists of 21 unpatented claims and 7 patented claims.
  • Rainstorm in April, 1921 exposed an outcrop of high-grade lead oxide ore south of Denver (North) vein. Discovery confimed that fall by an adit driven or extended by Evans Gay. This was the Sidney West orebody.
  • Mining by shrinkage stoping and cut-and-fill (with waste rock) methods.
  • US Bureau of Mines in Sept. 1944 discovered the Sidney East orebody during a 2,670-foot diamond drilling program.
