Comments on the commodity information

  • ORE IS SEPERABLE INTO THREE MAIN TYPES. ONE TYPE IS REPRESENTED BY SPHALERITE IN CONCENTRATIONS CONTAINING AS MUCH AS 20 % ZN, WITH SOME PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE. THE CHALCOPYRITE YIELDS AN AVERAGE OF 2 % CU. THE SECOND TYPE IS LARGELY PYRITE WITH SMALLER AMOUNTS OF CHALCOPYRITE AND SPHALERITE. THE THIRD TYPE IS MOSTLY CHALCOPYRITE AND PYRITE, LESS SPHALERITE. GALENA, TETRAHEDRITE - TENNANTITE, CHALCOCITE AND LUZONITE ARE ALSO PRESENT IN THE FIRST AND THIRD TYPES. PYRITE IS NEARLY UBIQUITOUS, LOCALLY IT IS HEAVILY DISSEMINATED AND FORM A HALO AROUND LENSES OF MASSIVE SULFIDE.
