ORE RECOVERIES ARE FROM PREVIOUSLY DEVELOPED AND BLOCKED OUT AREAS UNDERGROUND, AND FROM SURFACE STOCKPILES. REPORTS STATE THAT ORE RESERVES CANNOT BE EXTENDED WITH GOLD PRICE RISES. ; MILL.CAP: 1.1 MIL. MET. T/YR. ; ECON.COM: A LOW GRADE PRODUCER WITH MARGINALLY HIGH OPERATING COSTS ($103.69 TROY OUNCE OF GOLD RECOVERED IN 1976 ). ESTIMATED LIFE OF MINE: 5 YEARS. TWO ORE HORIZONS MINED: MAIN REEF AND KIMBERLEY REEF. NO NEW DEVELOPMENT AT THIS MINE SINCE 1969.
