  • MOST MINING NEAR SURFACE OF BROWN ORE. BELOW THE WATER TABLE QUARTZ CONTAINS AURIFEROUS PYRITE WITH A LITTLE CHALCOPYRITE, IRON CARBONATEuCOMMON. THE SERICITIC, HIGHLY SCHISTOSE LAYER BETWEEN THE GRANITE AND THEuGABBRO MAY BE AS MUCH AS 30 M WIDE. THE ORE SHOOTS ARE CROSSCUT BY MESOZOICu(?) DIABASE DIKES.
