| Deposit | VEIN ESTIMATED TO BE OVER 9.1 M WIDE AND OVER 183 M LONG. MINE CONTAINED LENTICULAR VEINS OR CONCRETIONS OF WHITE QUARTZ, CARRYING IRON OXIDE, PYRITE, AND GOLD. IN SOME PLACES THESE GOLD-BEARING BEDS WERE CUT OFF BY DOMES AND RIDGES OF DIORITE, WHICH WAS TOTALLY BARREN OF GOLD. WHEN THE MINE WORKINGS STRUCK THIS DIORITE THEY WERE STOPPED. |
