  • IN 1903, AN 18 M (60 FT) SHAFT WAS SUNK. FROM 1905 TO 1910 THE SHAFT WAS DEEPENED TO 23 M (75 FT) AND A SHORT DRIFT WAS DRIVEN NORTHEASTWARD. IN 1972, A WATER-FILLED SHAFT WAS EVIDENT. MUCH OF THE DUMP MATERIAL HAD BEEN REMOVED FOR USE AS ROAD METAL.

  • DEVELOPED BY Q.Q. COPPER CO. AROUND 1903 TO 1905, WHEN BOUGHT BY UNITED STATES MINERAL CO., WHICH CONTINUED SPORATIC DEVELOPMENT OFF AND ON THROUGH 1910.
