Comments on the geologic information

  • THE HARZBURGIT DOME IS OVERLAIN BY GARNIERITE-BEARING SERPENTINITE AND IN TURN THIS IS COVERT BY NICKELIFEROUS LATERITIC CLAYS.THE HARZBURGIT CONTAINS 0.3 TO 0.4% NICKEL.THE SERPENTINITE CONTAINS2 TO 3 % NICKEL. THE ARGILLACEOUS SERPENTINITE 1.5 TO 2.5 NICKEL, AND THE LATERITIC CLAYS 1.2 % NICKEL. THE AVERAGE TENOR OF THE ORE IS 1.7 TO 1.8 % NICKEL.
