  • TWO PITS, ONE 6 BY 3 FEET BY 1.5 FEET DEEP AND THE OTHER 3 FEET IN DIAMETER AND 1.5 FEET DEEP WERE FOUND IN THE DEPOSIT. MANGANESE WAS EXPOSED IN BOTH PITS AND ALSO NOTED ON THE REFUSE DUMPS NEARBY.
