Deposit MINERALIZATION OCCURS DISSEMINATED IN BASALT WHICH IS EPIDOTIZED AND HAS FLAT,LENTICULAR STRAIN CRACKS FILLED WITH SERPENTINE, AND QUARTZ INTERMEDIATE ROCK DOTTED WITH SPECKS AND GLOBULES OF CUPRITE. COPPER MINERALIZATION ALSO OCCURS AS MASSES AND STAINS ALONG JOINTS.
