  • TWO PITS WHICH ARE PROBABLY CAVED SHAFTS WERE SEEN IN 1981. ONE PIT IS 6 M (20 FT) IN DIAMETER AND 3 M (10 FT) DEEP. THE OTHER PIT IS 9 M (30 FT) IN DIAMETER AND 4 M (13 FT) DEEP.

  • YEAR (S) OF OPERATION UNKNOWN. AN OAK TREE NOW GROWING ON THE OLD DUMP HAS AT LEAST A 1.0 M (3 FT) DIAMETER, SO MINE WAS OPERATED OVER 100 YEARS AGO.
