  • J.W. YOUNG DISCOVERED PROSPECT AROUND 1909. HE SOLD THE MINING AND MINERAL RIGHTS TO THE NAKED CREEK MINING CORP. ON MAY 7, 1909. THE NAKED CREEK MINING CORP. DRILLED A NUMBER OF CORE HOLES ALONG NAKED CREEK. NO PRODUCTION EVER OCCURRED, DEPOSIT WAS UNECONOMICAL AT THAT TIME.

Deposit GOLD IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN FOUND IN QUARTZ VEINS. THERE IS ABUNDANT QUARTZITE FLOAT AROUND THE OPEN CUT.
