  • CURRIER (1935) STATES THIS PROSPECT IS ON NEWLAND CREEK (NOW BLUE SPRING CREEK), WEST OF DAVIS PROPERTY. PROPERTY OWNERS ASSISTED WITH DIRECTIONS TO THE SMALL PROSPECT. IT IS 4,950 FEET S 38 DEG E FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROADS 614 AND 675 SOUTHWEST OF CEDAR SPRINGS, 500 FEET N 59 DEG E FROM BENCH MARK BM N1 (2470') EAST OF STATE ROAD 675, ON THE SOUTH FLANK OF A NORTHEAST TRENDING RIDGE. AREA WAS EXTENSIVELY TRAVERSED, NORTH AND SOUTH OF BLUE SPRING CREEK. LUTHER VAUGHT (PERSONAL COMMUNICATION, 1988) STATED ADDITIONAL PROSPECTING WAS DONE SOUTH OF BLUE SPRING CREEK. NO OTHER WORKING FOUND NORTH OR SOUTH OF BLUE SPRING CREEK. FIELD EXAMINATION CONDUCTED 2/17/88.
