THE PROSPECT IS LOCATED IN HOGTROUGH HOLLOW, 7500 FEET S 79 DEG E FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROADS 663 AND 720 SOUTH OF THOMAS BRIDGE, 3750 FEET S 62 DEG E FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROADS 650 AND 720 WEST OF ZION HILL CHURCH, JUST EAST OF STATE ROAD 650.

  • NO PROSPECTING AT THIS OCCURRANCE IS REPORTED IN THE LITERATURE. FIELD EXAMINATION CONDUCTED 2/9/88. AREA WAS EXTENSIVELY TRAVERSED. SMALL PROSPECT LOCATED JUST EAST OF STATE ROAD 650 IN BASAL PORTION OF SHADY DOLOMITE, JUST ABOVE THE ERWIN FORMATION. OPEN CUT IS ABOUT 20 FEET LONG, 8 TO 10 FEET WIDE AND ABOUT 12 FEET DEEP AT THE HIGHWALL, DRIVEN IN A N 60 DEG E DIRECTION, PARALLEL TO STRIKE. NO DUMP OR MINERALIZATION FOUND. NO OTHER WORKINGS WERE LOCATED IN THE AREA.
