  • ACCORDING TO WATSON (1905) ONE SHAFT WAS SUNK TO A DEPTH OF 82 FEET. FIELD EXAMINATION CONDUCTED 2/11/88. A FAIRLY LARGE CUT, ABOUT 125 FEET LONG, 8 TO 20 WIDE AND 2 TO 6 FEET DEEP WITH SMALL DUMP PILES ALONG THE CUT WAS LOCATED. OPEN CUT TRENDS N 35 DEG W. NO INDICATION OF CAVED SHAFT.

  • PROSPECTED IN 1905; SANK SHAFT 25 M (82 FT) DEEP, ENCOUNTERED ORE AT 23.8 M (78 FT) AND AT 25 M (82 FT).

Deposit NO DESCRIPTION GIVEN, PROBABLY SIMILAR TO THE RYE VALLEY MINING COMPANY MINE. MOST LIKELY, MINERALIZATION OCCURS AS OPEN SPACE FILLING AND REPLACEMENT (?) BETWEEN BRECCIATED ZONE IN THE DOLOMITE/LIMESTONE.
