IN 1871, AND NO PRODUCTION WAS DONE AFTER THAT YEAR UNTIL 1950'S. PRODUCTION FROM 1855-1871 AMOUNTED TO 475,747 LBS. THE CALUMET & HECLA EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION CO. PRODUCED 5,458,581 LBS. FROM 1952-1958, AFTER WHICH THE MINE WAS CLOSED.
