| Deposit | BAUXITE IS CHARACTERISTICALLY EARTHY IN APPEARANCE AND LIGHT COLORED. IN PLACES DIKES OF BROWN CLAY CUT THE ORE BODY AND REDUCE THE GRADE OF ORE. IRREGULAR COMPOUND PISOLITES OR PEBBLES OF PISOLITIC BAUXITE MEASURED 1 TO 4 CM IN DIAMETER, AND PISOLITES IN A MATRIX OF BUFF EARTHY BAUXITE WERE FROM 1 TO 5 MM IN DIAMETER. MANY OF THE PISOLITES WERE HOLLOW. |
