  • FIGURES ARE FOR OPENING ONE, WHICH IS 3' DEEP. OPENING 2 IS 30'X40' WITH A 10' FACE AT THE INNER SIDE. IN THE CUT A MASS OF ROCK 10'X15'X8' WAS LEFT IN PLACE, AND WAS SEEN TO BE RICH IN SMITHSONITE. THE ROCK OF 2'S INNER FACE CONTAINS ORE ONLY IN THE TOP 4 FEET. ROCK IN BOTTOM OF CUT IS EVERWHERE LEAN OF ORE. THE ORE HEAP FOR THE CUT HAD TENOR 12 TON OF ORE. PRESENT IN 1900
